Course Description:
The Ladies of the Moose Lodge are baking up a storm to raise money for the annual picnic and skinny dip party! Join the Ladies and learn the “secrets” of baking delicious desserts and faux fancies! Students will decorate an aged flea market table with all of goodies in preparation for the big sale. The Ladies also welcome men…real men bake too…!

Students will have the opportunity to practice the following polymer clay/miniature food making techniques: texturing, use of liquid clay, resin, mold making, coloring techniques, piping, caning, and other baking secrets. The skills learned will be easily applicable to other miniature food making projects The students will make their own paper plates, cups, doilies, and boxes. The instructor will provide the aged table and glassware. Elements of design and color theory will be discussed. The students will be encouraged to decorate their table as they wish, so that each piece will be unique. The instructor will provide a highly detailed instruction booklet, as well as lots of chocolate

Time: 12 hours. Completion is likely.
