Course Description:
Students will create from scratch materials blossoms such as Sunflowers, Oriental Iris, Tea Roses, Old Fashioned Roses, Bicolor and Standard Tulips, and Rununculus; and arrange these flowers in a Flemish-style arrangement. Students will learn to cut, shape, hand-color, assemble, and arrange the various blossoms and learn special techniques to create various color palates. They will be instructed in the techniques involved in arranging flowers in a face (one-sided) arrangement and how to shape and adapt individual
blossoms to create a realistic floral design.

Time: 12 hours. Completion is likely if students work overtime.

Power Tools: none

Skill Level: All levels. Students should be comfortable working with small hand tools such as fine tweezers, wire cutters, and small scissors.

Materials Fee: $65.
