PROJECT: Wigs, Stockings, Boots, and Shoes (This class is FULL)
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The finishing touches that you give to a doll or figure can make or break the final result. A neat boot or shoe can enhance any outfit, but too often they look clumsy and achieve quite the opposite effect. In this class, students will make footwear for women and children in two very different materials—leather and a fine modeling clay. Laces and various trims will give a delicate and realistic finish.
An elegant leg requires a fine, well-fitted stocking or sock; this is not the easiest thing to do in 1/12th scale. Learn a cunning trick or two, which will help to give a neat effect.
Finally, the right hairstyle is so important. The methods the instructor has developed and will teach will enable students to make soft, natural styles possible.

MATERIALS FEE:
$15 covers all materials used; also three pairs of legs and three heads to work on. An optional charge of $5 will enable students to convert one head and a pair of legs into a doll, if so desired.
