COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The lathe is one of the only power tools where the cutting/abrasive is in the hands of the artisan and not the machine. Students will learn to appreciate the lathe and how it can add to their miniature projects. They will learn how to use the supplied tools to turn and finish small bowls that are the same size and shape as well as a larger bowl of the same shape.
