Make and Decorate a Christmas Table with Jeannie Lindquist (G)

When making and decorating a Christmas table, students will learn innovative uses of paper as basically explained in “Mostly Paper” written by Jeannie. Fully assembled candles on candlesticks are to be electrified so they can be wired into a room box, dollhouse or use as stand-alone feature powered by a battery. The class will cover making and draping a table with custom designed wallpaper; menu considerations for the table settings; making a custom-designed poinsettia, decorating dishes and stemware; and folding napkins. The instructor will provide all materials for this class. Some items will be partially assembled. Class includes an autographed 90-page book “Mostly Paper” by instructor, Jeannie Lindquist. Students should bring a 12” cork-backed ruler, X-Acto knife with #11 blades, small and medium sharp scissors, paint brushes (1/4” flat, small round and 1” flat or foam,) fine tweezers, needle nose pliers.
