The International Guild of Miniature Artisans cordially invites you to join us at the 2017 Guild Show, September 19-24, in Windsor, CT in our beautiful new venue, the Hartford/Windsor Marriott. The show location offers easy access for drivers, flyers and train riders and is within easy reach of both Boston and New York City. This hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, as well as service anywhere in a 5 mile radius of the hotel. Included in our IGMA room rate is a full buffet breakfast for two for each room night. This is a prime opportunity for enjoying a superb miniature show and classes, as well as easy access to some of the world's most interesting historical sites.

The Guild is know around the world for its mission of promoting miniatures as an art form, and for the educational programs it sponsors in support of that mission. At the Guild Show you will be able to take part in classes, tour an historic site or attend a Broadway show at the beautiful Bushnell Theater, among many other options. The Guild Show itself will feature an outstanding selection of dealers from around the world, exhibits, silent and live auctions, a unique shopping area for younger miniaturists, and free crafting for families on Sunday afternoon. Throughout the week, participants will enjoy the company of their fellow miniaturists in a warm and inclusive environment.

In the Grand Ballroom and Grand Concourse

IGMA Information and Membership – Chat with Carol Hardy, the Guild Administrator, or an IGMA member about the Guild’s many programs, and consider joining the organization. If joining the day of the show, the admission is free! [more info]

Exhibits – Student projects from Guild Study Programs and Guild School, as well as other exquisite displays from Guild members.

Small Beginnings – An exclusive and inexpensive sales area just for those miniaturists under 14 years of age.

The Gallery of the Guild – Displaying work for sale by IGMA Artisan and Fellow members not represented at the show. [more info]

Live Auction Items – Preview of items for Saturday evening auction.

The Guild School – Meet Guild School Director, Barbara Davis, and learn about the sublime event that is known as the “Castine Experience”. Information on registration and the scholarship program will be available. [more info]

Silent Auctions – Stop by to view and bid on one or more of many items so generously donated to the Guild. There will be bargains.

Free Crafting: Sunday 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Families are welcome to participate in the free crafting period to create a special miniature item.

Live Auction

Atrium, Saturday 5:00pm – 7:00pm

At the close of the sales room, join friends in the Atrium for the IGMA Live Auction. The auction is one of the primary fundraisers for the International Guild of Miniature Artisans. Purchases at this auction help support the wide range of educational and other programs sponsored by the Guild.

IGMA Annual Meeting

Atrium, Sunday 8:30am – 10:00am

Attend the Annual Meeting in the Atrium to let your voice be heard and help us celebrate all of the dedicated individuals who volunteer their services to make IGMA the wonderful organization that it is.

Hotel Information and Directions


The Guild Show rate for hotel rooms is $135 per night. To take advantage of the group rate, reservations must be made by 09/06/17 or until the room block is full. Click here to make a reservation.

This rate includes a full breakfast buffet for 2 for the length of your stay. The rooms have refrigerators and complimentary WI-FI. The rate is good for 3 days prior to 09/19/17 and 3 days after 09/24/17.


The Hartford/Windsor Marriott Airport Hotel is located in Windsor, CT. The hotel is easily accessible by all major highways. Visit the hotel website for detailed driving directions from your starting location, and bus and train transportation. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from Bradley International Airport. Parking at the hotel is free and plentiful.
